Earlier this summer, I was invited to ride a decked out VIA Rail train from Toronto to Montréal, accompanied by other creatives, artists, and media people. The trip was orchestrated by MASSIVart in support Chromatic, an arts festival that takes place in Montréal.

We spent the night at Le Germain Hotel Montréal, an elegant, upscale hotel downtown.
I was off to NYC the day after, so we only had one night in MTL and we had to make it count! Aya, being a massive foodie, heard about Au Pied de Cochon, a renowned and lively restaurant that specializes in French-Canadian cuisine – the signature dish being duck in a can! Although this place has a very long wait list – I hear that some people make reservations months in advance – we were lucky enough to score two seats at the bar shortly after waltzing in.
